The short answer: admitted UF students posted a middle 50% SAT of 1380 to 1510 for Fall 2025. Treat 1450 or higher as the working target. UF is the most competitive public university in Florida, and four out of five applicants are turned away.
UF admits carry weighted GPAs between 4.5 and 4.7, heavy course rigor, and test scores well above the state average. Florida's public universities all require an SAT, ACT, or CLT score, so there is no test-optional path here.
The Florida Academic Scholars score of 1330 pays 100% of tuition at UF, about $6,381 per year at current rates. But note the gap: UF's admitted range starts at 1380. A student who trains to the FAS score has the money handled and needs one more push for the acceptance. We build plans around exactly that staircase.
