The short answer: FSU's Fall 2025 incoming class posted a middle 50% SAT of 1340 to 1450. Aim for 1400 or higher to be comfortably competitive. The old idea of FSU as a backup school is gone: more than 86,000 students applied for roughly 6,200 seats.
Incoming students carry core GPAs of 4.2 to 4.6 and strong rigor. Like every Florida public university, FSU requires an SAT, ACT, or CLT score.
