What SAT Score Do You Need for UCF? (2026 Data)

The short answer: UCF's Fall 2025 entering class posted a middle-50% SAT of 1310–1430. A 1370+ makes your teen solidly competitive; below 1310, the application needs real strength elsewhere.

The numbers

  • Middle 50% SAT: 1310–1430
  • Middle 50% ACT: 28–32
  • Recalculated core GPA: 4.1–4.5

UCF is one of the largest universities in America, and its admitted-score range has climbed steadily as Florida applications surge. Like every Florida public university, UCF requires an SAT, ACT, or CLT score — Florida never went test-optional.

The Bright Futures sweet spot

Notice where UCF's range sits: the FAS threshold of 1330 lands squarely inside it. A student who trains to the 100%-tuition score is simultaneously a competitive UCF applicant — and knocking on FSU's door (1340+). One training target, three payoffs.
