Connecticut has no broad state scholarship that pays out automatically off an SAT cutoff; the state's main aid program, the Roberta B. Willis Scholarship, is primarily need-based (gated by a federal Student Aid Index cutoff), with a 1200 SAT or top-20%-class-rank threshold only as one eligibility screen into that need review, so score-tied money in Connecticut mostly comes from individual universities' own automatic merit grids.

Find my teen's target scoreThere is no published minimum; the middle half of the reported group scored 1220 to 1420. A score at or above 1420 puts a student in the top quarter of that group. A score near 1220 is within the range, and grades, coursework and the rest of the application still decide the outcome.

No. A middle 50% is a description of last year's group, not a cutoff in either direction. It tells you where a score is competitive, which is the useful part for planning test dates.
