Hey, I’m Carson, one of the owners of Florida Test Prep. I grew up right here in Tampa, and I started this company to help Florida students unlock the same opportunities a strong SAT score created for me.

In high school, I raised my SAT score by over 200 points, which helped me earn 100% Bright Futures and win a spot in FSU’s very competitive Presidential Scholars Program – a full‑ride scholarship through the FSU Honors program. Because of that, I was able to graduate from Florida State University debt-free.

All through college, I tutored SAT for family friends and local students and kept seeing the same pattern: once the score goes up, doors open. After graduating, I decided to turn that work into Florida Test Prep so I could help more families across Florida get the same opportunities.

I also create SAT prep videos that have been viewed millions of times on TikTok and YouTube, where I break down test strategies and questions in a simple, clear way students actually like.

Today, I focus on helping students boost their scores so they can:

1) Qualify for Bright Futures

2) Get into competitive Florida universities and programs (UF, FSU, UCF, UM, FAMU, and more)

3) Reduce or eliminate college debt

I’m grateful I get to do this work with Florida families. With every student, my goal is simple: make the process less stressful, give them a clear plan they can follow, and turn an intimidating test into an opportunity for their future.
